So, the Lord God has called you to be a missionary to the nations. Congratulations! Youare about to experience a lifetime full of rewards! Never before has there been such thrust inmissions as in these last days. It is obvious that the Lord Jesus is pushing to get peopleto respond to the gospel before he comes again. Along with the rewards come many dangers that the missionary may wish to avoid. Itappears as though Satan works extra hard to destroy the person and the work of the one whomthe Lord has called to preach the good news of salvation. Many books have been written andmany seminars have been given on preparation for the mission field. These have covered everyaspect of missionary life that can be thought of and all have given invaluable ideas for successas a missionary. The most important aspect of a missionary's life is the vitality of his or her spiritual walk.Without a proper spiritual walk the missionary is doomed to failure. Every part of themissionary's life will depend upon his or her life in the Spirit. This little article is an attempt to giveyou some basic and practical Biblical ways to prepare spiritually for your stay on the missionfield. May the Lord God bless you with a renewed desire to be strong in the Lord and in thepower of his might as you head for your rewards in other nations.

The version of the Bible that I use in this website is the King James Version. It will be the only version I use unless a topic compels me to compare it to what another version says. It will be done to show the superiority of the King James Version over any other English version out there. Lots and lots of pages have been written on the debate of which Bible version is best. Some arguments are compelling while others are just built on sinking sand. Below is a list of reasons why I choose the KJV over all other English Bibles.
